Spice Mix (Cinnamon, Turmeric Powder, Cumin, Fennel, Red Chilli, Black Pepper, Mace, Nutmeg, Fenugreek, Cloves, Kasuri Methi, Black Cardamom and Bay Leaf), Sugar, Iodized Salt, Tamarind Powder, Dehydrated Onion Powder, Dehydrated Garlic Powder and Dehydrated Ginger Powder.
Instructions for use
- Soak 200 g channa previous day night or soak in hot water for 5 hours, Cook channa and 430 g potato for 5 – 6 whistles, remove potato skin and smash well and keep aside.
- Heat 50 ml oil in the pan, sauté 70g fine chopped onion for 2 minutes, add 500 ml water to bring boil and add cooked channa, cook for 3 minutes.
- Add smashed potato, stir well, till it starts boiling and add channa masala mix boil for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander, serve hot with parata or chapatti or with bhojan.
