It all started in the year 1999, when Mrs.Lalitha Rao Sahib and Mr.S. R. Rao Sahib aimed at providing mankind with Good and Healthy Food products.

  • 1999

    • Flagship company Sri Nuthatch Nutricare Technologies (P) Ltd. was started.
    • Manufactured and Marketed “Estress” Brand of nutritional supplements.
    • The manufacturing unit was set up in 100 sqft, with 1 worker and a capital of Rs.55,000.
  • 2003

    • Introduced the concept of Contract Research And Manufacturing (CRAM) in Food segment.
    • Under CRAM, got associated with M/s ITC Foods Ltd. for their “Sunfeast Pasta Treat”.
    • Associated with M/s Elder Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for manufacturing of “Elnutrin”, Pedia Joy and Thrive RD range of health supplements.
    • The manufacturing facility grew to a 3000 sqft area.
  • 2007

    • Sri Nuthatch tied up with M/s Bharti Walmart for producing Soup mixes for the latter..
    • Manufacturing and exporting of seasoning products for the African market of M/s Watanmal Group.
    • The manufacturing unit expanded to a 24000 sqft area housing own R&D centre and enhanced Quality Assurance Lab.
    • In addition to Sunfeast Pasta Treat, Aashirvaad range of instant mixes were added to the manufacturing portfolio.
  • 2010

    • The group’s second firm, Sri Family Biznet (P) Ltd. was set up.
    • Own brands Udupi Ruchi, Temptas, Nutramine were launched.
    • To market own brands and with a vision of empowering women, an Innovative marketing module, My Family Biz was started. A Women-2-Women, Consumer-2-Consumer, Direct Selling model.
    • The manufacturing unit expanded to a 24000 sqft area housing own R&D centre and enhanced Quality Assurance Lab.
  • 2014

    • Café Udupi Ruchi, an Indian Veg Cuisine Concept Quick Service Restaurant was established in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru.
    • CUR is an innovative restaurant based on the own Easy to Cook mixes developed and manufactured.
    • My Family Biz empowers around 75,000 women pan India, through its network of 1200+ Service Points and 32 Hubs.
  • 2016

    • Udupi Ruchi, Temptas and Nutramine products are launched in the retail market across South India.
    • To support the Hospitality industry, the Easy to Cook mixes are also introduced in Institutional sales market.
    • Cafe Udupi Ruchi expands its operations across other parts of Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Coimbatore through the Franchising module.
    • Udupi Ruchi and Temptas products are exported to Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and U.S.A.
    • The Group has grown today and works on Management By Objective module, professionally managed, with an eye on long term business plans.
